This policy explains how HDMS Ltd, trading as Hogan Dental & Medical Services (“HDMS”, “we”, “us”), uses cookies and similar technologies on hdms.ie (the “Website”). It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data more generally.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They let the site recognise your device, remember your choices and, in some cases, measure how the site is used. Some cookies are deleted when you close your browser (session cookies); others stay on your device for a set period (persistent cookies).
Cookies set by us are “first-party” cookies. Cookies set by other organisations whose services we use — for example Google or Cloudflare — are “third-party” cookies. We also use similar technologies such as browser local storage and tracking pixels; where we refer to cookies in this policy, we include these.
2. How we ask for your consent
When you first visit the Website you will see a cookie banner. Strictly necessary cookies are set automatically because the site cannot work properly without them. All other cookies are set only if you choose to accept them.
You can accept all, reject all, or choose by category. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time by clicking Cookie Settings in the footer. [Complianz: add the

[DELETE THIS SECTION IF NO MARKETING COOKIES ARE USED. If a Meta pixel is added, list _fbp (Meta, 3 months, tracks visits across sites to measure and target advertising) here.]
We do not currently set advertising or marketing cookies.
3.4 Embedded content
Some pages embed content from third parties, which may set their own cookies once loaded:
- Google Maps on our Contact page. The map loads only after you accept it. [CONFIRM — remove if the map iframe is not content-blocked in Complianz.]

We do not control cookies set by these providers. Their policies are linked in section 5.
4. How to manage cookies
Besides the Cookie Settings link in our footer, you can control cookies through your browser. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies, and warn you before a cookie is set. Instructions for common browsers:
