About us
Engineering expertise behind every surgery
HDMS was Founded by Paul & Sarah Hogan in 2009 and started out as an engineering firm. That grounding still shapes how we work – we design, supply, install and maintain dental and medical equipment, and the people advising you are the same people who service it.
OUR APPROACH
From first drawing to final handover
Our experience in the building trade means we can support the architectural side of practice and surgery design, not just the equipment. We work alongside dentists, practice managers, architects and contractors so decisions line up from the outset — fewer compromises, and a smoother project for everyone.
Rapid response and short lead times, with large stock held in Galway.
Engineers on the road and loan units where needed, keeping surgery downtime to a minimum.

WHAT WE DO
How we work with practices
Complete Service Partner
Everything under one roof
From our Galway base, HDMS delivers equipment, installation and after-sales support as a single service — one team accountable for the whole thing, rather than a supplier who disappears after delivery.
Concept to Completion
A full turnkey service
Clinic planning, equipment selection, installation, commissioning and staff handover. We stay involved from the first drawing to the day you open the doors.
Multi-surgery Fit-outs
Complex installations, delivered
Full equipment solutions for modern multi-surgery clinics – managing the detail so every system works together on handover, not weeks later.
Servicing & Maintenance
Support long after installation
Servicing, repairs, preventative maintenance and annual validation. Spares on the vans, stock in Galway and loan units where needed, keeping surgery downtime to a minimum.
Lower Running Costs
Efficiency built in
We look at the complete clinic setup and consider how equipment is used, how efficiently it operates, and how the overall system can reduce unnecessary energy consumption and running costs. From dental chairs and compressors to suction systems, sterilisation equipment and imaging systems, we carefully consider the impact each component has on the clinic’s day-to-day efficiency.
